The School Uniform

We aim to maintain a high standard of dress, and have always received co-operation from parents in the general appearance of their children and in the wearing of school uniform. We expect uniform to be worn smartly (e.g. ties tied and worn correctly, minimum of 7 black stripes below knot, shirts tucked in). We trust that we can count on your support in the coming year. Some of the following items of uniform are available from most large chain stores and local shops. The school tie, jumper and jacket, in the school colours, are obtainable only from the school.

The Uniform

V-Necked knitted Pullover (No sweatshirt material)-  Black with school logo

The items of school uniform listed are compulsory although the jumper is optional.

Make-up should not be worn.A school jumper or black jacket must be worn when out of school on school related activities.Pupils with long hair are required to tie it back in the interests of hygiene and safety. Because pupils move between buildings many times during the day, they are allowed to take their outer clothing with them. This can be worn when moving between buildings but must be taken off in the classroom. Particular care should be taken to en-sure that items of clothing are not left about the school.
